By downloading, accessing, or using SafeBite, provided by Redsprint Ltd ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. Food Safety and Not Medical Advice
SafeBite provides guidance based on the image and your stated restrictions. For allergies or medical conditions, always confirm ingredients and cross-contamination risks with restaurant staff or the manufacturer. Never rely on SafeBite alone for a food choice that could affect your health. If you have a medical condition or a serious allergy, consult a qualified professional and verify every ingredient before eating.
3. No Warranty of Accuracy
SafeBite's recommendations are generated by an AI model working from a single image and the information you provide. The output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your needs. We do not warrant that any food identified is safe, correctly identified, or free of any allergen or ingredient. You are responsible for your own food choices.
4. Use of the Service
You agree to use SafeBite only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You must not upload content that is unlawful, or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the service. We may suspend or limit access if the service is misused.
5. Anonymous Use
SafeBite does not require an account. The app signs you in anonymously so scans can be processed. You are responsible for the device you use to access the app. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
6. Free Tier and Premium Features
SafeBite is free to start and includes a limited number of scans and one profile. We may offer premium features - such as additional scans and multiple profiles - through in-app purchases or subscriptions. Any purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's terms. Prices and the contents of free and paid tiers may change; we will make material changes clear in the app.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, designs, and software related to SafeBite are owned by Redsprint Ltd or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
SafeBite is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redsprint Ltd is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages - including any harm arising from a food choice - resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the service or its recommendations.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page. Continued use of SafeBite after changes means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the UK courts.
