How do I get the best out of BetterPic App
The quality of the output largely depends on your uploaded selfie.
Upload a clear photo of yourself from waist up, you looking straight at camera with your head straight.
Clearer and well lit the photo, the better.
If you're unsure, look at the style image and take a photo with you having the same pose.
Avoid sunglasses on your face or head. Avoid headgear, (hats, caps, towels etc). Have a neutral pose.
AI does not know you and it bases all its decisions from the photo you upload, and the rest it assumes.
A lot of people tend to show a side of their face, but unfortunately your best side is not enough to
generate a realistic photo of you.
Can I use the same photo for many styles?
Yes you can but choose the styles carefully to match the pose.
Can I use a group photo?
A group photo will not work well because the AI wouldn't know which person to pick
Can I use a screenshot?
Screenshots may not work well because they are of low quality.
What sort of photos should I not use?
Don't upload photos with nudity or illegal content. When these are detected, the output is
withheld and you will lose credits used for the operation.
Does it work for men's selfies?
Yes, but we have separate models for men. Choose accordingly.
Where are my free credits you promised?
Free credits are awarded when you make your first purchase.
We had free credits system without a purchase before, but unfortunately massive
amount of people from all over the world abused that and reduced the experience for everyone.
Therefore we introduced the current system which places everyone in a level playing field.
How do I cancel my subscription?
We get this question a lot, and we don't have a subscription system.
What we have is a very low cost credit system.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits never expire and stay with your account.
Can you refund the credits bought?
No. Once bought credits can not be refunded.
How can I get more credits?
You can buy credit packs or earn free credits by inviting friends.
Where are my generated photos stored?
They are stored on your device. If you want to see them in your iPhone Photos App, save
them to the Photos. You can also share directly to Instagram, TikTok and other social media.
